Home Information Packs in 2008

February 19th, 2008

The Home Information Pack (HIP) is now firmly in the Estate Agents portfolio of services being offered when you sell your property. However, if you are thinking of bypassing the Estate Agent to save some money, then you will still need to have a HIP for your home.

Many solicitors have loose connections or indeed a specific agreement with a HIP provider, but don’t feel compelled to take their recommendation. Shopping around for a local HIP provider can save you some money providing you check them out beforehand.

Looks like the housing market will start moving soon, and my view is that house prices will creap up ever so slowly, rather than an almighty crash, it’s all down to supply and demand.
